Presidents’ Day Omni Channel Promotion

Each unique major shopping holiday creative is meant to be disruptive and shout sale louder than any other promotion that we run throughout the year. 

During the first quarter of 2019, on Birch Lane we were experimenting with illustration, and using it within creative to bring an organic, handmade element. In this case, we were using the illustration to be disruptive from our everyday assets which rely on our heavily styled photography. I kept the classic patriotic color palette but pushed past the expected and lead with a lighter, more teal hue to make the design feel fresh. I also shied away from using classic flag or stars iconography, and instead went for an olive branch which is found on the dollar bill. Since I pushed the traditional in the way of illustration and color palette, I kept typography calmer, using our standard serif font.

I then applied the look and feel of the sale across multiple channels that included organic social, online acquisition, and dedicated emails. Scroll below to see the creative applied in these applications.
